The Russian Federation of Autosport and Tourism is a non-profit making All-Russian organization and association of Russian regional automobile clubs, automobile associations, touring clubs and region federation for motoring and motor sport.
The R-FAST (the former Central Auto Motor Club of Russia - CAMC) was founded and became a member of the International Automobile Federation in 1956.
Nowadays the R-FAST functions through its 47 regional branches , which mean that its activities embrace the whole territory of Russian Federation.
The President of the R-FAST is elected for four years on the portback election meeting. The President is eligible for re-election. On the regular meeting on February 8th, 2002 Mr. Igor Yermilin took over a post of the R-FAST President.

The object of the RFAST is to establish a union between Members with view to:
- Ensuring the unity of the automobile movement and safeguarding the interests, material or moral, of automobilism in Russia,
- Promoting and development of motor traffic, motorsafety and touring in Russia,
- Promoting and developing of motorsport, enacting, interpreting and enforcing common rules applicable to the organization and running of motor sport events in Russia,
- Encouraging the reinforcing and improvement of the facilities and services of Members of the RFAST,
- Exercising the jurisdiction in respect of disputes of a sporting order and any disputes which might arise between its Members,
- Preserving and conserving all documents concerning motoring in Russia in order to trace it's History. |
